Welcome to the site of the London & Provincial Collie Club (L&P).

I have been a member of the committee since 2004 and chairman from February 2011.

In that time I have seen productive changes such as :-

* An appointed Health Co-Ordinator.

* One show a year sponsored by Royal Canin.

* Increase in shows from 2 to 3 a year.

* Sponsorship of Guildford and District Canine Society May show from 2012.

* The launch of the L&PCC website

The club has been formed to meet the needs of breeders, owners and enthusiasts of the Rough and Smooth Collie in the L&P area, and has been doing so for over one hundred years.

The aim of the club is to promote and encourage the responsible breeding and ownership of the Rough and Smooth Collie and to provide events and social gatherings for the breeds and its owners. We encourage junior handlers giving professional advice from our experienced members.

The London & Provincial Collie Club is the oldest collie club in England. It caters for all Collie lovers in the London and South East area although members come, and are welcome, from all over the British Isles and indeed the world. Our shows are particularly noted for their friendly atmosphere where Rosettes are on offer to VHC in every class for both Roughs and Smooths.

There are many trophies, awarded to winning members of every class.
